About the Rincon del Diablo Chapter, NSDAR

For more than a century, the members of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution have dedicated themselves to historic preservation, promotion of education, and encouragement of patriotic endeavors. The NSDAR motto is "God, Home, and Country."

Each woman of the Rincon del Diablo Chapter, NSDAR, is a descendant of an American Revolutionary War Patriot. We are a lively group of ladies who are patriotic and welcoming. Since our chapter's founding in 1954, we have participated in many NSDAR projects including the DAR Good Citizens program, support of Native American women in crisis, DAR schools, scholarship programs, local Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) units, historic preservation, San Diego area libraries, and aiding veterans and active-duty military personnel. We are able to touch many lives through our chapter's service projects, and the positive long-term effects are immeasurable.

Today we have nearly 200 members, aged 18 to 95, who are active in their local communities stretching from Temecula to Poway and Carlsbad to Julian. We take pride in our outstanding chapter programs and service projects, as well as the significant genealogy assistance we provide to prospective members.
